If you would like to  go  to the CSUS field trip come to portable #3 before school or during lunch to pick up the form for your teachers and parent to sign. Mr. Guillen needs to know if you are going by this Friday the 21st, so that he can let CSUS know how many students will be attending. They also will be providing lunch.

It is extremely important to attend the meeting on the 27 of October, to get important information about the CSUS field trip. There will be no cost to attend just keep your grades up so that your teachers will sign the field trip form.

Does your school club or classroom need funds for supplies, registration fees or activities?  If so, here's an opportunity to apply for a grant.  The PTSO is looking to support clubs and classroom efforts to enrich learning experiences by providing financial support.

Please complete the attached application by November 4th.  For questions, email ptso4pghs@gmail.com

Want to support the service men and women that are overseas?  The Public Service Academy is supporting Blue Star Moms by collecting nonperishable food items, games, or personal care items from 10/18-11/3.  Place the donated items in your Advocacy class donation box.  If your Advocacy does not have a donation box, donate during lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays to the students at the table and provide your advocacy teacher’s name.  The Advocacy class that collects the most will earn a Pizza party.

For our christmas project, the Filipino club is planning to send in Balikbayan boxes filled with goods to children and families in need living in the Philippines. It would be awesome if we could receive donations from everyone. Donations go to room HL4.

Ex of things to donate:

- Non perishable canned foods (vienna sausage, spam, etc.)

- School Supplies (simple erasers, coloring books, colored pencils, art supplies, notebooks)

- Toys (preferably used or lightly used)

- Old and new clothes (mostly nice shirts or skirts still in good form. DO NOT DONATE WINTER JACKETS!)

NOTE: Our club is planning to make cards to write to the kids we will be donating to, so if anyone is interested in the card making and boxing event, please feel free to talk to one of our members!
