IMPORTANT! Computer print-outs Due to severe budget cuts, we cannot offer free computer printouts this year. Please be sure to bring money for printing with your basic supplies if you plan to print at school. Black and white printing: 10 cents per page. Color printing: 25 cents per page.
IMPORTANT COMPUTER FILE CONVERSION INFORMATION Please read the following if you start your assignments at home and then finish them at school on the library computers. WORKS is a free word processing program that comes pre-installed in many computers and you may have it at home.
At PGHS- KAMS, our computers have Microsoft WORD installed, which is a different program. WORKS documents (wps) currently do not open on our computers. We are working on installing a converter program, but for now, if you use WORKS at home, please follow these directions:
First of all, you will know the program is Works if the saved file has a .wps at the end. When you are ready to save your Works document and intend to open it at school, go to the file menu, choose “Save As”. Name the document, then look at the “document type” box below the file name. Pull down the arrow until you see Microsoft Word or “.doc” format. Save a copy in this format and it should open
