Please be informed that due to continued growth in the district’s Pleasant Grove region, any student who moves into the Pleasant Grove High School attendance area on or after March 2, 2015 will be redirected to Elk Grove High School (EGHS) or to Sheldon High School (SHS), based upon the location of their residence.

Did someone say ice cream?? Pleasant Grove and Franklin Key Club is hosting a fundraiser at Leatherbys on TUESDAY May 3rd from 5pm to 11pm!! Come out with family or friends and help raise money for Relay for Life!  All proceeds will be donated to the charity!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show the attached flyer when paying! Elk Grove Garden Club - Each May this club holds a fundraising event to raise money for local community non-profit groups.  

They are in need of dependable volunteers to up us set-up on Friday afternoon (5/13/16) from 3:30 pm  until 5:00 pm; Saturday (5/14/16) from Noon to 8:00 pm to be runners & Sunday (5/15/16) from 10:00 am until about 11:00 am to dismantle and put away tents, tables, & chairs.  Interested students should contact Gay Rigmaiden at 916-479-0323 or gaysue28@yahoo.com


Sacramento Zoo Camp Counselor Volunteer Program - Summer 2016 - Camp Counselors have many unique experiences at the Sacramento Zoo.  Students will work directly with camp teachers to prepare and teach classes for campers, lead songs and games, guide campers through he Zoo on scavenger hunts, assist in the Family Overnight Safaris, and much more.  Apply by April 24th at: www.saczoo.org/zooteens.


McKee Elementary School Carnival - Friday, April 29th from 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.  Students are needed to assist with carnival games and activities.  To sign up email Lynette Crump at McKee Elementary at LACrump@egusd.net.  Please provide your name, student ID #, email address and contact #.


SACRAMENTO CHILDREN'S HOME SPRING FUNDRAISER - Sunday, May 1st, 4:00-7:00/8:00 at Jardin Rue Estate, 4475 Garden Hwy, Sacto.  Volunteers are needed for take down/clean up after the event ends.  Interested students should contact Wendy Beseda at 916-290-8199 or wendy.beseda@kidshome.org.

Summer school will be held at Pleasant Grove High School this summer from June 2nd until June 28th.


There will be an AM session( 8:00- 11:35) and a PM session (12:10 - 3:45) to allow students an opportunity for credit recovery, acceleration or grade improvement.  


SUMMER SCHOOL HAS NO EXCUSED ABSENCES!  Students who miss two days during a term shall be automatically dropped on their 3rd absence.  Students with three tardies shall be automatically dropped on the 4th tardy. More than 30 minutes late constitutes an absence. 


Transportation will be available for drop off and pick up for the AM session and pick up only for PM session.


Final course offerings will be determined by the number students who are enrolled and by teacher availability.

Please print out that registration form and return it to the student services office by May 6th.
