GENERAL NEWS:

 

Brothers Grimm closes this weekend! Tonight's show is at 7pm and tomorrow (Saturday) has two shows at 2 pm and 7 pm! DON'T MISS IT!!! :)

 

REMINDER - Do you want to run for office and represent your class in the ASB class??  Go to the ASB room and get the information you need..   If you meet the all of the criteria you can run.  Paperwork is due Monday, March 27. (J. Platt, 3/27)

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

Project R.I.D.E. needs your help!   They are having a steak fundraising dinner on Saturday, April 22nd.  and need volunteers for the following times:

Friday, April 21st - Set up 4:00-6:00 p.m. 

Saturday, April 22nd - 5:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.?   Servers needed.

Where:  Project R.I.D.E. Arena

LIBRARY NEWS:

Attention PG TLC:  The Teen Library Club meets TODAY both lunches at the library work room. Arrive early for food & prizes!  April 7th is the last day checks are accepted to pay library fines.  After April 7, cash only accepted to pay fines and clear library accounts to participate in May grad rehearsal and ceremonies.  Get ‘er done seniors! (D. Career Center Hours: Open before school @ 7:30, during both lunches and after school until 3:30.

CLUB/ACADEMY/ACADEMIC NEWS:

 

Calling all PGHS students of ALL RELIGIONS AND CULTURES - not only Punjabi and Sikh students! We only grow when we have diverse backgrounds and cultures uniting together!  Our vision in SHSS is to  spread awareness in the community through service and expand our horizon as a youth on social issues and beyond .So If interested in our vision please join us TODAY, Friday 3/24 In HP1 @ 3:20 . Do you want to see a movie and enjoy some food as well as potentially win a prize? If so, come on down to PG Movie Night's showing of the Last Exorcism on TONIGHT(FRIDAY) in the main gym from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Admission is $3 per person. (K. Norsworthy, 3/24)

 

PGHS Robotics is raising funds for their trip to World Championships in Houston, Texas. Support them by donating through their GoFundMe page which you can find on Schoolloop News or team2073.com. (K. Nguyen, 3/31)

ATHLETIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity softball teams for defeating St. Francis yesterday!!! Great week!!

The tennis team also defeated Franklin yesterday!! Way to go boys!!! GO EAGLES!!! :)

The U.S. Military Academy at West Point is hosting an "Information Night" on Thursday, April 6th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at American River College (ARC).  Students and families are welcome, no registration required.  See school loop news for more info. (4/6)
